Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Building a Legacy Together
Welcome to the very first year of the Texas Girls School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)! As the founding PTO organization, we are creating a legacy of support, service, and community for our daughters, their teachers, and the future families who will join us.
Our PTO is the heart of our school community. Together, we will build the traditions, culture, and support systems that will carry The Texas Girls School forward for years to come.
The PTO’s Mission
The PTO exists to:
Foster friendships and build a supportive, positive community among TTGS families.
Assist TTGS in its mission to challenge and nurture young women through advanced STEM academics in a small-school, single-gender environment.
Strengthen partnerships between families, staff, and school leadership.
Create a sense of belonging while building traditions that make school life meaningful.
By volunteering your time, showing up for events, or making a donation, you are directly contributing to your child’s education and helping grow TTGS into a thriving community that attracts more families.
Why Your Involvement Matters
Because TTGS is a brand-new, growing school, our PTO plays a vital role in:
Creating traditions like our Father-Daughter Dance, Mother-Daughter Tea, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
Supporting teachers and staff with monthly luncheons, lounge snacks, and classroom assistance.
Enhancing student life through community nights, student ambassador programs, and volunteer-run activities.
Fundraising to provide resources, events, and opportunities that make TTGS stand out and appeal to future families.
Every hour you give and every dollar you donate strengthens our school and helps us reach our goal of growing enrollment exponentially. Families are more likely to join TTGS when they see an active, joyful, and supportive community—and that starts with us.
